The α7V is attractive because it's the first camera in the α7 series to feature 30 fps continuous shooting and pre-capture shooting. However, compared to the 30 fps continuous shooting speed, its onboard buffer memory is limited, meaning the buffer quickly fills up and continuous shooting stalls. The only workarounds are to use a CFexpress Type A card (preferably 512GB or larger), slow down the continuous shooting speed, or compress the RAW file format. However, even reading the α7V Help Guide, I only find the number of continuous shots in Hi+ mode, and I don't know how much more continuous shooting I can achieve by slowing the continuous shooting speed to 20 fps or 15 fps. Also, I'm not sure how many continuous shots I can take with my SDXC card. As we thought many people would like to know, we tested how much the number of continuous shots changes depending on the RAW recording format, drive mode, and memory card.
