Exclusive video with procedures to copy/erase a 4003 LC model copier controller; other models may not work! Presentation: How to copy another controller, erase everything from memory, and restore old data in case of accidental reset! STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO COPYING A CONTROLLER 1. Place the controllers face to face. 2. Press and hold the button on the controller to be copied. 3. Press and hold the "Clone" button on the controller. (Once it flashes twice followed by several quick flashes, you can release the buttons because the controller has been copied!) NOTE: If the LED only flashes twice and there are no quick flashes, the controller has not been programmed! (Possible copying errors may occur due to: Controllers being too far apart or a weak battery in one of the controllers.) ERASE/RESET 1. Press and hold both large buttons simultaneously until the LED flashes 3 times. 2. Release one of the buttons and tap the same button you released 3 times. The LED should flash several times quickly, indicating that the memory has been erased! RECOVERING AN ACCIDENTAL RESET 1. Press and hold both small buttons simultaneously as soon as the LED starts flashing in a sequence. Quickly, you can release the buttons because the controller has been restored! --------------------------------------------------- This controller accepts copying another controller with up to 4 buttons or 4 different controllers, one button from each! Note that the 4003 series (Green Board) accepts copying controllers that operate at a frequency of 433.92 MHz and HT Learning Code standard!
