Is Rwanda SGR still on the way? Why has it taken long?
#SGR #Railway #SGRprojects #Rwanda is one the countries with no rail network. The country is planning to build an #SGR linking it with Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi and DRC. The rail will have four sections with the #Isaka #Rusumo section being prioritised to link the landlocked country with Daresalaam Port in Tanzania. Despite the project being planned to kick off in 2018 , no work has started on the ground due to failure to secure finances, among other issues.
