We filmed horse care methods at Effort Stable in Ami Town, Ibaraki Prefecture. Following on from Vol. 1, this is the second installment on horse care methods. This time, we'll focus on caring for horsehair, including tails and manes, and how to apply hoof oil. For us, the tail and mane care method is one we particularly want to share with you. It's not something you do casually; it's a "rule" that has been established over hundreds of years of interaction with horses, and we want to share it with not only many horse riding fans, but also those working professionally with horses. Essentially, these are rules that apply in the world of horse racing, but if you think about the content (meaning), we think there are many points that will make sense.
