Asometech dual port fast charger load test
I examined the Asometech fast charging protocols and output power in single port and dual port modes. I used 2+2 Ω resistors for loading, where one of the 2 Ω can be shorted. Single ports outputs 35W, but when it senses load on the other port, both port lose most protocols, except 5V 2,4A. So the sum of output power only 17W. This shows that there is only one power supply behind the USB-A and type-c ports.
