Using a LEICA M for panoramic photography | POV
My Hasselblad Xpan is my favourite ever film camera. I've still own and use the MKI Xpan I bought in 1999. However, there are times when it isn't possible or economical to use the camera, and I have to improvise a little when faced with images that lend themselves to the panoramic format. So, on a recent trip to Northumberland, I only had my Leica M9-P with me and there were panoramas everywhere. I decided to focus on shooting panoramas with the Leica and using my years of experience with the Xpan to compose the images. The photos in this video are panoramic (Xpan ratio) crops to standard Leica files. At the end of the video, I take a look at a couple of my favourite images from the trip. Thanks for watching and if you have any questions, let me know in the comments. ~ Jeff / ascough_photo https://jeffascough.com
