2.7kVA Generator - No Voltage Output | Can I Fix It?

A friend asked if I'd be able to have a look at a generator that is not generating any electricity. It starts and runs, but there's no voltage output. Let's take it apart, see if we can diagnose the problem and hopefully repair it! I'm not an expert, but I do enjoy trying to fix things.
