Fabric Junk Journal Tutorial Process Video Series - part 3 lace pockets and tucks sewn onto pages
This video update shows where I have completed sewing all the vintage and antique pieces in place on the pages. There will be additional decorating later on as we add tags and ephemera to the journal. I explain the eyelet closure technique I implemented to allow space to insert ribbon ties when needed. I put them in between layers of fabric and lace so I didn’t have to punch eyelets through too many thicknesses. This method also makes the tie closures more flexible. At least that’s the plan! Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any questions in the comment section below. I am working on several mini journals, booklets and fabric tags for the next episode. Can anybody guess which feature color I decided to go with … ??💕 Follow me on FB and IG: VintageEleganceInspiration
