"The Noose" from A Perfect Circle's "Thirteenth Step" album (2003). Ahhhhh... my favourite A Perfect Circle. It has been my favourite for about 15 years now and I was a little bit afraid that transcribing it would ruin my appreciation for this song, but it hasn't. It's still one of the most atmospheric songs I know of. Anyway, the intro is a weird one. The notes are very weird, but the timing is even weirder. I'm also convinced that the used 2 or even 3 different bass tracks at once during the intro and the verses. That higher line around the 19th fret during the verses plays on while the bass drops to some serious low notes at 2:57. That's some evidence I guess. Some important information that nobody is going to read.
