Why Spot Metering Changes Everything in Wildlife Photography Most photographers think exposure is about brightness. It’s not. It’s about control, intention, and where the viewer’s eye goes first. In this video, I show you exactly how I use spot metering in wildlife photography to control light, tone, and emotion — the same way I did in my fashion work — so your subject becomes the brightest or darkest element in the frame, on purpose.
