The plane initially planned was to be an A320 Neo which was damaged the day before due to a birdstrike on arrival in Calvi where it had to be grounded for 2 days. The company therefore chartered this plane which was initially flying to Ajaccio, to replace the Neo during August 10 and 11. Too bad because the place on board would have been ideal to listen to the magnificent sound of the LEAP engines. Thanks again to all the Air Corsica crew as well as its pilots (a little nod to them) who are always at the top. I highly recommend this company. Thanks again and have a good flight. 🇫🇷 Très bon vol à bord d’un A320 d’Air Corsica au départ Bastia jusqu’à Lyon. L’avion initialement prévu devait être un A320 Neo qui a été endommagé la veille à cause d’un birdstrike à l’arrivée sur Calvi où il a dû être immobilisé pendant 2 jours. La compagnie a donc affrété cet avion qui volait initialement sur Ajaccio, pour remplacer le Neo durant le 10 et 11 août. Dommage car la place à bord aurait été idéale pour écouter le magnifique son des moteurs LEAP. Merci encore à tout l’équipage d’Air Corsica ainsi que ses pilotes (petit clin d’œil à eux) qui sont toujours au top. Je recommande vivement cette compagnie.
