America 2-Night with Lenny and Squiggy (1978)

David L. Lander and Michael McKean on America 2-Night, 1978 (with Martin Mull, Fred Willard, and Monte Hale). Michael and David guest star as "Denny Kopchinski and Ant'ny Squigliano," who play Lenny and Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley, and perform their song Creature Without a Head. (Note: Prior to appearing on Laverne and Shirley, the characters were known to be called "Lenny and Ant'ny.") Worth noting: Harry Shearer was a regular writer on America 2-Night. He had been a member of The Credibility Gap with David and Michael, and would go on to team up again with Michael for Spinal Tap.
