Grundig 4006 Stereo tube radio restoration, part 1. First look and power-up. Brave or stupid?

I've restored numerous Grundigs from this era, so doing another one needed to add something new to the 'knowledge database'. This one, from 1959/60, is a 'stereo' system, which peaked my curiosity. Stereo FM was a rare back then, and I guessed that this function was limited to the audio input channel, which is usually a pick-up or tape input. The method for achieving stereo is also interesting, and well worth delving into. It uses three output transformers, so should be fun. Hope you enjoy the series.
