Do you have any seasonal rituals, tidying tasks, or decorating changes you like to make at this time of year? 🧅 Pickled Red Onion Recipe (inspired by Isadora and Marisa's channel) ✨ Perfect to accompany your summer salads, sandwiches, burgers, or wraps! 📝 Ingredients • 1 finely sliced red onion • 125 ml organic cider vinegar (or white vinegar or wine vinegar) • 250 ml hot water • 1 tbsp unrefined sugar • 1 1/2 tsp salt • 🌿 A few aromatic herbs of your choice (optional) 👩‍🍳 Preparation Finely slice the red onion and place it in a clean jar. In a bowl, mix the vinegar, hot water, sugar, and salt until the sugar and salt are completely dissolved. Pour the vinegar mixture over the onions until they are completely covered. Add a few aromatic herbs if desired. ⏳ Resting • Let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature. • Then place the jar in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. • For best results, let it macerate overnight or for 24 hours. ❄️ Storage The pickles will keep for up to 1 month in the refrigerator in an airtight jar.
