The Highest Pub in Africa/ Sani Pass, Lesotho

We visited the Highest Pub in Africa! But the one thing we wanted to know is what type of beer do they serve at the Highest Pub In Africa? Based at Sani Mountain Lodge in Lesotho - a small enclave country that is landlocked by South Africa - the highest pub in Africa is surely not the easiest one to get to. With an elevation of 2,874 meters (9,429 feet), you need an off-road vehicle to reach the top, and seeing as we don't have an off-road vehicle we booked a tour in Underberg, South Africa, to go and see for ourselves what the Highest Pub in Africa was all about. Before reaching the Highest Pub in Africa we quite literally drove on the roof of Africa where we met a local Basotho tribe, learned about their culture and way of life, and even enjoyed some homemade "Behobe" (bread) with them.
