#genesis #g80 #genesisg80 The Genesis G80 Electrified is a car which is the epitome of luxury, taking on ultra-high end brands, whilst undercutting them in price! In 2025 Genesis overhauled their range offered in the UK, giving the GV60, GV70 & the G80 significant updates. In the case of the G80 not only has the new dash with the singular 27” OLED panel been implemented, but the car has grown by 13cm thanks to its long wheelbase & a larger 94.5kWh battery is now standard, taking the G80’s official combined range from 323 miles to 354 miles WLTP. The ‘Dynamic’ is the 1 trim offered on the G80, meaning plenty of standard high end features such as; 360* parking cameras, Bang & Olufsen sound system, Remote Smart Parking Assist, head-up display, Pixel-Array LED headlights & much more are included as standard. Optional extras are available to increase everyday usability, style & comfort. As tested the G80 has the Nappa Leather Pack, V2L Adapter, Front & Rear Comfort Packs added, these all made the car feel even more premium and truly luxurious. At over £84,000, it wasn’t a cheap car, but comparing it to rivals such as the Mercedes EQS Saloon, Bentley Flying Spur PHEV & perhaps even the Rolls Royce Spectre, it looks like a bit of a bargain! The upgrades on this facelifted model are certainly welcomed, however for those in the market for a used EV, some excellent deals can be had on the pre-facelift models from under £30K. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the G80, it was actually a car that can be even more enjoyable as a passenger, thanks to the excellent rear space and comfort (helped massively by the extra features on the ‘2nd Row Comfort Pack’.
