In Egypt, I visited the village where Prophet Joseph is believed to have lived. It was quite close to Cairo. I was filled with deep and special feelings on the way there. For years, watching the TV series about Prophet Joseph had fostered an admiration and curiosity about his life. However, upon arriving at the village, I was met with a completely different scene. The excessive amount of litter seriously overshadowed the spiritual feelings I had experienced. On the one hand, the significance of the place affected me, but on the other hand, the state of the surroundings constantly distracted my mind.
