Baby Kitten By The Dumpster Waiting For Someone To Save It - Episode 2 We heard this little kitten meowing while we were at the balcony so we went down to see what's going on. The baby was out there alone. We waited for awhile at safe distance to see if mother cat will come back to take it. But nobody came, so we had to take it home and give it a chance. Unfortunately this is not something rare to see in Bulgaria, as stray cats are many and government doesn't help, cat shelters are non existent and it's up to volunteers to help and TNR stray animals. We have 4 cats at home, all rescued from the streets - Sopolcho & Bagheera live with us while Alexa & Rijo live with Dessy's mom, who has been feeding and caring of stray animals for the last 10 years. Bulgaria is a small and poor country with lots of stray cats and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray cats with the help of Dessy's mom.
