Among Rainbow Road songs, the original has a unique place due to its intensity, almost aggressiveness, which matches the massive frustration I felt playing on it as a little kid. I tried to keep this mostly faithful to the original, but with a slight addition of the pan flute (which also hints towards MK64's Rainbow Road) and theremin later on to give it a bit more of a DK64 flair.
