This was an on the whim recording. I wanted to find a song that was popular when I was in 8th grade (2005) so I could revisit that time. In 2005 I picked the White Sox as my fav baseball team. Even named my tuxedo cat “Sox” after them. My dad said they sucked and never win blah blah. Then they won the World Series that year lol. Anyways tonight they won against my 2nd fav team the Dodgers and it made me wanna celebrate! And this is the song I ended up choosing. I played and sang this song mostly from memory, because I did not listen to it first before playing the chords straight from ultimate-guitar.com and I trusted the lyrics from that site as well, and soooooo… some are incorrect. But I’ve never been a perfectionist so whatever.
