By The Grace Of God/Braid - Live show at Six Odum in Chicago, IL on December 12th, 1997. This was the first day of the three-day "Chicago Hardcore Fest" put on by Jim Grimes, Shane and Ed. Two days after this show, Braid went out to Washington DC to record their album "Frame & Canvas" with J. Robbins. They were absolutely dialed in at this show. This was the second Braid show (out of two) and the only By The Grace Of God show that I have filmed between 1996 and 1997. On this day, I also filmed a 17-minute interview with Rob Pennington (of By The Grace Of God) in the women's restroom (I guess it was the only quiet place without people interrupting, hehe).
