Manipulative Father Withholds Child for MONTHS, In A Bid To Strip Mom Of Primary Custody!

Today, we have an evidentiary hearing in a case with a high-conflict couple, where Dad is attempting to strip Mom of primary custody. He wants Mom to go from primary parent to only having visitation ONE weekend a month, and only if she gives him two WEEKS written notification. Mom asked Dad to watch the child temporarily until she got things figured out after she was the victim in a DV situation. But ever since then, Dad has refused to allow Mom any access to the child, even though it’s been months since she dealt with things. She says he’s been making all sorts of baseless accusations about her “terrible” parenting and she claims that has been withholding the child in an effort to force her to allow him to be the primary parent, which she is not willing to agree to.
