The descriptions of the pens in this video are based on the recommended nib types. (Since the Century SF nib is used, the descriptions in the video may differ from those for the Century F or M nibs.) The eight fountain pens featured in this video are all models that were thoroughly introduced as recommended pens in previous videos. This video only provides a brief introduction, so please refer to the previous videos for each pen for detailed reviews. Both the Pilot Capless and Decimo were included, as I recommended them based on hand size. For comparisons of the feel of the other models on different papers, only the Decimo M nib was used. This video was created with the intention of viewers who are new to the pen market and are unsure which pen to choose. I believe that only a few fountain pens, if chosen carefully and possessing a collection of 5 to 10 nibs, can be considered good enough to have used most pens, regardless of the type of paper or ink used. (My thoughts after using about 100 fountain pens) From that perspective, for those who say, "I want to only use pens with the feel I like," this video ranks them by their features. A truly great fountain pen is so good that you'll want to take it out and play with it (and use it) often, even after years. While a fountain pen of questionable quality is so good that you'll only use it for a few days after buying it, you'll probably own it for a lifetime and never use it again. If you just pick and choose only the best pens that suit your taste, you'll quickly accumulate about 10. I hope viewers, through my experience, will fill their pencil cases with only the best fountain pens and enjoy writing for a long time. Thank you for watching.
