Disassembling & cleaning a Bare (SiTECH Shell) Drysuit Inflator valve sticks/gummy
My Bare (SiTECH Shell) Drysuit Inflator valve has become a little gummy, the press button doesn't return instantly. (Had an issue with some salt water ingress). Thought I'd take it apart & clean it so that it worked properly. Found that one O-ring was needing to be replaced (I have to order an O-ring service kit) but for now a good clean & lube got the inflator working properly again. They can be a little fiddly to open (there is a special tool of course) but if you work on the inside of the Drysuit there is a far amount of surface area for you to work on just by hand. I hope this helps gets someone out of trouble, don't forget to get the proper service kit & utilise your LDS. Disassembling & cleaning a that sticks & feels a bit gummy
