Guitar Theory: Lydian Mode

Modes are, well, confusing! Let's just leave all that behind and focus on really hearing them. One at a time. Really own them as we go. Then, once they are useful and we understand if we even like them at all, that'd be a GREAT time to take a moment to understand the underlying system. Until then it just adds to the confusion in my opinion. Here is Lydian...it's been referred to as the "brightest" of the modes. But I actually don't agree with that.
