How to Remove a Mass of Metal Stuck in a Crucible
When metal becomes stuck in a crucible it must not be pried out because it will damage the flux coating and possibly remove some of the crucible surface which will weaken it and possibly cause it to crack. What needs to be done, is to heat it up with a torch until the metal frees itself and can be dumped out.
