Manual Technique for Curved Root Canal Preparation

This is a hybrid crown down pressureless technique for curved root canal preparation developed by Dr. André LB Machado. Its a great suggestion for the perfect proportion between low cost treatment and clinical success. It basically works a progressive-conic morphology in the root canal (cleaning and shaping), leaving the working length with a diameter of 0.27mm (once we reached patency with a #25 file 0.2 taper). Balanced force technique was not applied in apical shaping because we believe that it will over enlarge the apical foramen and make more parallel canal walls in the apical third, even attending to patency preparation in the video`s technique (once it will avoid post op discomforts). *For roots with more than 45 degrees ( Class 3 or 4 by Schneider) we recommend to use NitiFlex instead of FlexoFile.
