The trek starts in Kuala Tahan, where hikers walk through lowland rainforest and cross many rivers and streams. The first few days are long but not very steep. As you get closer to Gunung Tahan, the trail becomes steeper and more challenging, with muddy paths, roots, and rocky sections. After reaching the summit (2,187 m), the route descends toward Merapoh through mossy forest and mountain terrain. The trek usually takes 5–7 days and is known for its long distance, humid weather, river crossings, and remote wilderness. Whether you are a experience hiker or beginner dont underestimate the trails. Be well prepare for all the challenge. Many hikers use this trail as a graduation trail, so do I. The story is divided in to a few chapters highlighted some interesting moments, that no one has ever told us before. Day 3, Crossing the majestic Tahan River with wide of 2 football fields. After heavy rain a night before the water level has rise and we have to make another way to Kem Teku
