Pulse Polio Awareness Rally & Immunization Camp | Narayana Medical College & Hospital As part of the Statewide Pulse Polio Immunization Programme 2026, Narayana Medical College & Hospital, Nellore, successfully organized a Pulse Polio Immunization Drive under the guidance of Dr. P. Sreenivasulu Reddy, Dean, through the Department of Paediatrics in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS). The programme commenced with an awareness rally across the campus to educate the public on the importance of Pulse Polio vaccination and encourage parents to ensure that every child below five years receives the Oral Polio Vaccine. A Pulse Polio Immunization Booth was established at the General Hospital, where eligible children were administered the vaccine free of cost. The awareness rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, doctors, postgraduate students, interns, nursing staff, NSS volunteers, students, and hospital management, reaffirming Narayana's commitment to public health and child welfare.
