In a society based on consumption, waste, the desire to be independent, to live freely, in the middle of nature, is the reason that led Alex Jurj, from Şardu, Cluj County, 10 years ago, to make a radical decision. He decided to break away from the entire system that most of us are absolutely dependent on, and to live a normal life, with all the comforts, which costs him almost nothing. On seven hectares of land, Alex built himself a house made of clay and straw, half buried in a wooded hill, but also an eco-sustainable farm. The young man raises animals and birds, grows vegetables, herbs and fruit trees.
