DAY 10 🌱 OUTDOOR KITCHEN TRANSFORMATION! - JET WASHING!

DAY 10 🌱 Ten days in, and for the first time, it truly feels like we're turning a corner. This episode is all about progress. With help from one of our brilliant volunteers, Tommy Lee, we continue clearing, sweeping and jet washing the old fruit cage area, revealing a space that's finally beginning to look ready for the next stage of the transformation. Although there's less talking in this episode, there's plenty to watch as years of dirt, debris and grime disappear before your eyes through satisfying timelapses and plenty of hard work. I also share one of my favourite discoveries so far: a simple way of powering a jet washer using nothing more than a rainwater butt. With no running water available, this little setup has made a huge difference to the project and proves that sometimes the simplest ideas are the most effective.
