(29 Jun 1996) T/I: 10:08:43 A British military barracks in the suburbs of Osnabrueck in northern Germany came under a mortar attack on Friday (28/6), believed to have been launched by the Irish Republican Army. The blast, which caused no injuries but extensive damage, involved missiles fired from the back of a British-registered vehicle parked outside the army compound.
