Yamaha Ténéré 700: serbatoio Acerbis 23 litri e scarico SC Project. Prime impressioni
The Yamaha Ténéré 700 is also gaining a significant following among enthusiasts who choose to use it mainly off-road. Companies have noticed this and a series of accessories suitable for challenging off-roading are already available for the T7. In the video we tell you how the Yamaha Ténéré 700 was equipped, which we have already used in the Motorally and the Swank Rally of Sardinia in 2021. Compared to last year, we have confirmed the choice relating to: suspension (Andreani kit for the Kayaba which gives 30 mm more travel, Ohlins mono with 46 mm body) wheels (Takasago Excel enduro channel rims) Dunlop D908RR tires and Dunlop mousse) Yamaha accessories (engine protection, radiator protection, oversized footrests, rally seat). Compared to last year, the collaboration with Acerbis and SC Project arrives. The Bergamo-based company, a world leader in motorcycle plastics, has in fact created a larger 23-liter plastic tank (the original one in sheet metal was 16). It is lighter, more resistant to impacts and uses the original fuel pump and connections. It is compatible with tubular protections. It is suitable for both tourism (it increases the range by over 150 km) and racing use. In the video we tell you how to mount it and tell you if and how it changes the ergonomic driving. Acerbis also offers the X-Grip frame protections, which can be mounted in 5 minutes with the ORs supplied. Also useful are the chain guide for off-roading and the new Argon hand guards, with adjustable fins and a sturdy steel core. For prices, we refer you to the Acerbis website, but we anticipate that the cost of the tank is really competitive (under 400 euros including VAT). SC Project is the Italian company (located in the province of Milan) that in just a few years has managed to reach levels of true excellence in the world of motorcycle exhausts. Today it supplies Aprilia and Honda HRC in MotoGP and employs over 100 people. The research and development department is of considerable importance, with a team of engineers in constant contact with the teams that race in speed. On the Yamaha Ténéré 700 we mounted the SC Project Rally Raid exhaust. It is made of titanium, is approved and is lighter than the original. It also boasts welding workmanship worthy of a jewelry store. Its price is 620 euros and it is mounted using the standard attachments. It can be combined with the collector without a catalyst (but the latter only for racing use). By Andrea Perfetti #acerbis #yamahatenere #scproject
