At times it felt more like I was papercrafting rather than sewing, but it is so worth it! Sci-fi larps allow you to make such varied types of costumes, I'm now attending multiple ones and every sci-fi costume is completely different. In this case, having a pre-written character also helps a lot with generating ideas and a style.
