My trip to Germany was a real eye-opener. I've been in Germany for a while now. And quite honestly: I've seen a lot, experienced a lot, and talked to a lot of people. But above all, I've rediscovered how good I actually have it here in Phuket. Many things that I'd long since taken for granted, I only consciously noticed again in Germany. Not everything is better in Thailand. Not everything is worse in Germany. But this trip has reminded me why I emigrated over four years ago. That's exactly what we'll be talking about today.
