How to achieve (paint) skin tone with watercolor, gouache, oil, and even digital painting. Different methods for different techniques. Unfortunately, there's no perfect recipe for skin tone. The same shade can be achieved in many different ways. And the most frustrating thing is that there's no single, perfect skin color. We're all different. One person's skin may have a golden undertone, another's pink or even brown. Furthermore, all of this can change depending on lighting conditions and even from one part of the body to another. Naturally, I'll tell you how to deal with all of this. And most importantly, I'll try to give you some basic, universal mixture schemes to get you started. Then, once you've got the hang of it, you can expand on these (and even should!). Experiment, try, and find what best suits your style. I'm confident my viewers will succeed.
