The prominent bodies, exaggerated gestures and marked personalities give rise to burlesque situations, offering a new and offbeat look at choreographic performance. From these endearing characters who embrace their originality emerges a renewed vision of beauty, in which dance aims to be universal and transgenerational. There is also character in the lively and colorful musical universe of Müller & Makaroff, co-founders of Gotan Project. In 2020, the meeting between the choreographer and the two musicians is a mutual artistic crush, as evidence of what has deeply driven these artists since the beginning of their journey: the mixing of genres, openness, art through celebration, generosity and sharing.
