QK Alice Duo | showcase & sound tests

I've also included my thoughts about the board at the end of the video (after the sound tests) WITH VOICE OVER. It's my first time doing a voice over and it is really awkward but I tried my best. However, it was the cute little wireless pod that got my attention and I knew I had to try the board and it is definitely a unique one! I got the mint to match my setup and it is perfect. The pastel colour options in the Alice Duo are my favourites! Layout I'm glad the typing angle of the Alice Duo can be adjusted, you can type tented or flat on this board. The good thing about split boards is that I can position the boards according to my typing habits. So yes, I prefer this over the Neo Ergo. But hey, that's a personal preference. Sound There are 3 plates you can choose from– aluminium, FR4 and PC. My favourites are the aluimium and PC plates. I'm not a fan of the FR4 plate because it just sounded really flat to me. Again it's personal preference. Wrist rests The wrist rests are a really nice addition. They are designed to match the size and tented layout so if you use a wrist rest, you should consider getting it with the board. One cool thing about the wrist rests is that you can also adjust the tented angle on them too. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the kit and is an optional purchase ($45 for a pair of wrist rests). I personally do not need the wrist rests since I prefer typing it non-tented. Wireless pod This is the thing that caught my eye when QK first teased the board. It just looks so cute and cool lmao. The pod comes in the same colour as your keyboard. It acts as a wireless hub to connect both keyboard wired and wirelessly. Besides that, the pod shows the current battery level for both keyboards, wired/wireless mode and OS layout. The board also includes magnetic cables for charging. Since they're magnetic, it's probably going to be a problem replacing them if you lost or break them. I hope QK will be stocking these cables up in their store.
