Localising disaster risk financing

This session at GNDR's Global Summit builds on GNDR’s vision that the most effective way to ensure that local CSOs have access to risk financing for local DRR actions is through meaningful input from the leaders of local CSOs, along with leveraging learnings, identifying gaps and challenges from local contexts. The session featured representation and inputs from frontline voices from our members in the global south. We shared the outcomes of our project “Localising Disaster Risk Financing” and share local perspectives on the gaps and challenges in accessing disaster risk financing and how these could be addressed in advancing the Sendai Framework.
