Visiting the Ancient City of TROY

I was blessed to be able to visit the Ancient City of Troy in Hisarlik Turkey. This was one of my bucket list items and an incredible experience. To stand and walk among the city where so many powerful and noteworthy figures of history have walked before me was surreal. To look out from the cities edge and imagine where the sea once ended and visualize the Achaean ships and Greek soldiers encamped along the front during the legendary siege of Homer's poems was indescribable. And that is only the beginning.
