Notes on how to investigate a graph and communicate where the graph increases/decreases. I introduce concavity of a function, which is really something that will be covered in calculus. Calculus will allow us to precisely define where the intervals of concavity are. Khan Academy does a splendid job of explaining this concept (for calc students).
