My mother, who is in the 7th year of home care and requires level 4 care, this time developed a high fever and was unable to get up. Her temperature returned to normal in half a day, but I was reminded again of how difficult it is when she can't stand. Sometimes she forgets she can't walk and falls. *Because I provide home care 24/7, I tend to get quite stressed and come across as emotionally abusive, which I regret. *Her hands and feet are always so cold that they can't be measured with a pulse oximeter.
