Oakwell Hall Parkrun #438 - 18 April 2026

Today, me and my wife Sharon continued our 'Parkrun on tour' journey at Oakwell Hall in West Yorkshire. This was my 97th parkrun and my 47th different location. I have not recorded too many of my runs but with the big 100 fast approaching, have decided to dust off my Go Pro and start videoing again! I am by no means an expert at producing Youtube videos although I would expect this to be painfully obvious! But over time, I am going to learn the video editing software and see what happens. The run today at Oakwell can best be described as 'Brutiful!' A tough 2 lap course over a mixed terrain but wow! is it nice! Excellent support from the team and we bagged our second 'O' towards our second Parkrun alphabet. Overall, I'd recommend this parkrun. It's tough but very much worth the effort. I finished in 60th place out of 244 runners / walkers with an official time of 26:57.
