Our correspondent, Elias Karam, reported that army commanders have serious intelligence concerns about the dangers of the "Swiss Quartet" mechanism for disengagement, as it requires sharing operational information with countries that Tel Aviv considers "hostile," thus endangering soldiers' lives and restricting their freedom of movement. While Israeli Channel 13 confirmed that the withdrawal was inevitable and a foregone conclusion, the delegation carried maps identifying "experimental zones" south of the Litani River under occupation, to be handed over to the Lebanese army. The report revealed that the recent incursions were specifically designed as maneuvers to facilitate a subsequent withdrawal and avoid dictates from the Trump administration.
