Finca Josco Bravo - www.agroecologiapr.org
http://www.agroecologiapr.org El Josco Bravo is a family farm in the mountains of Toa Alta where Ian Pagán Roig learned to work the land in harmony with nature. Ian is a very experienced young farmer; an agronomist by profession, he began his career in organic agriculture while still in middle school. At El Josco Bravo, Ian grows vegetables and fruit trees, experimenting with different varieties and nourishing the soil with green manures and compost teas. In this video, he shows us practices that maintain and improve soil quality and planting with a greater investment of effort... not money. At the Madre Tierra Organic Cooperative Market in Placita Roosevelt in San Juan, you'll find the family's table (with Myrna Roig and Miguel Pagán) full of products from El Josco Bravo.
