Many people are familiar with it: the hissing or sound when you open the gas cylinder. Regardless of whether you are using a gas cylinder for a gas barbecue, outdoor heater or radiator, you will often hear a sound when you open the cylinder’s shut-off valve. Does this mean there’s a leak? Is there something wrong with the pressure reducer/pressure regulator or even the gas hose? First and foremost: you have nothing to worry about. There is a very simple reason for why it hisses when the gas cylinder is opened, which GOK explains clearly in the video.
