Pfingstspektakulum 2025 - Mittelaltermarkt Schloss Broich - Impressionen - DieHausis unterwegs

This year, the Hausis were, of course, once again at the Whitsun Spectacle at Broich Castle. We've reported on this beautiful medieval market several times before; we were there for one of the three days of the event and were able to gather many impressions. This year, we headed to the popular Whitsun Spectacle at Broich Castle in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Although it unfortunately rained on Saturday and Sunday, we arrived on Monday to dry weather. We are the Hausis: Tanja, Thorsten, and the Enterrich family! The Whitsun Spectacle is organized by CS History & Event GmbH in cooperation with Mülheim City Marketing and Tourism GmbH. Admission this year was €16 for adults, children under 14 paid €8. Concessions and family tickets were also available, of course. Past the market cash register, we headed through the courtyard full of stalls and visitors, first on the historical adventure trail of Broich Castle – the tower fragments within the city wall. There were also a few jugglers and musicians out and about again. We visit every year, and this year there were some new vendors and stalls to discover. Of course, we had to buy some refreshments there again: Dünnele (dry sausages) for €7. On the small market stage, we heard musicians, such as the Tarranis group, performing again. And we took another short walk through the rose garden, where some of the camps always fit in nicely. Tournament: The Light of Destiny was performed on the tournament grounds this year. As you can see, the stands were well-filled, and the famous Broich Knights' Tournament was incorporated into an exciting story. For us, it was another truly beautiful day at the Whitsun Spectacle, and if we've piqued your curiosity, the next market within the castle walls is the Broich Castle Christmas Market in December.
