Sahyadri – Bringing Back the Tiger is our upcoming documentary podcast film series showcasing efforts being made for the return of tiger families to these forests of Maharashtra's Western Ghats. Once home to thriving tiger populations, the Sahyadri landscape holds one of the richest biodiversity regions on Earth. Through this series, we explore the region, the science of tiger recovery, and the voices of conservationists, forest communities, and the wilderness itself. Through stories from the landscape, conservationists, and the forest itself, the series examines what it takes to restore one of India's most iconic predators to the Sahyadri mountains. What such a return would mean for the future of the Western Ghats ecosystem and the communities that depend on it.
