My Motto ‘Nobody Should Be Left Who Can't Learn To Swim’. Hello, my name is Sedat. I began learning to swim when I was 36 years old. I am starting a swimming sport that I've wanted to do for years and will be sharing my experiences with you as I learn to swim. I have been playing tennis since I was a child, competing in various tournaments and working as a tennis coach for many years. I am currently employed as a business development specialist manager in a private firm. My goal is to learn freestyle and backstroke with the best technique possible. If you like and comment on the videos on my channel, it will boost my motivation even more. I have made some recommendations for effective freestyle swimming foot kicks. We should prioritize foot kick exercises because foot kicks are extremely important while swimming. So, how should you kick your feet while swimming? • In freestyle swimming, the foot kick begins at the hip, so the foot kick is not made solely with the lower part of the knee cap when foot kicking. As a result, we kick weakly and our hips sink into the water. Similarly, as our frictional force against the water increases, we expend more energy while swimming. • When foot kicking, we should not extend our legs completely. The legs should be flexible and whip-like, similar to how a football player moves his legs during the shooting phase. It's natural for us to be stressed when trying to foot kick, whether we're swimming freestyle or backstroke. Our feet will become more flexible as we work. • Another factor to consider when performing a foot kick in swimming is that our toes will not point to the bottom of the pool. Our fingertips should point to the pool wall behind us, i.e. to the back. • Let's begin the foot kick in swimming by pushing from the pool's wall. Then we'll do some foot kick exercises on the swimming board. • Let us not forget that the primary purpose of the at swimming foot kick is to keep us parallel to on the water. Kicking our feet excessively will result in significant energy loss. As a result, we will tire quickly while swimming.
