The star of this video is the Apeks US4 1st Stage, probably one of the most versatile First Stage regulator in the industry today. It is used by Open Water divers on single tank, Technical Divers for their Doubles and Deco Tanks and even by JJ-CCR Rebreather divers for the rebreather’s O2 and Diluent tanks. It’s small, light weight, easy to service/maintain and inexpensive. If you dive with an Apeks regulator but are not sure what model the first stage is, more than likely it’s an Apeks US4.
